The Dromana industrial estate is set to transform into a vibrant hub of music, energy, and community connection from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 June.

Presented by the Shire in partnership with the Live Music Office, the Dromana Weekender is a four-day contemporary music activation. Building on the successful micro-festival model established with Pretty Snazz in the Nazz, this major pilot event delivers a full program of free live music across the heart of the Dromana maker precinct.

Across the four days, a curated lineup of local bands and performers will showcase the depth and diversity of the Peninsula’s music scene, drawing audiences of all ages into a shared celebration of live performance.

Music will flow across multiple non-traditional venues and creative spaces throughout the industrial estate, creating a dynamic and walkable festival experience. Each location within the precinct contributes its own unique industrial atmosphere, turning functional spaces into professional stages for our homegrown talent. This innovative approach to venue activation provides a platform for local artists while allowing the community to explore the "hidden" creative heart of Dromana.

Beyond the music, the Dromana Weekender highlights the unique "maker" culture of the area. By partnering with local breweries, distilleries, and manufacturers, the event supports the regional music economy while driving foot traffic and engagement within the industrial precinct. The four-day program is designed to strengthen community ties and establish Dromana as a thriving destination for contemporary live music and industry collaboration.

Overall, the Dromana Weekender is set to be a landmark event for the Shire - bringing people together, celebrating local talent, and testing new ways to integrate live music into the fabric of our industrial landscapes.
