Join Heavy Amber in celebration of their long-awaited debut single, Crystal Columns and limited edition 7” vinyl release on April 24th at Thornbury’s local haunt, Cactus Room. Supported by friends Boggle and Wahala Dey and lit by the incredible Electric Light Brigade, April 24th promises to be an amazing night of music. This will be the first opportunity to get your hands on a limited run of 7” with a mystery B-side exclusively available via physical copies.

Heavy Amber, is a heavy psychedelic rock trio, with mind altering, spirit wrenching ability, evoking empowerment through means of experimentation.
Juxtaposing ethereal and psychedelic harmonies with fuzzed out guitar, and driving bass and drums, Heavy Amber bring feminine power to the forefront of their message and music. Reflecting the ethos of 70’s psychedelic and progressive rock, Heavy Amber’s song writing is intentionally unique, layered in poetry and almost orchestral in approach to composition.

Boggle is what Boggle does: Baritone saxophone, synth, guitar, drums, weirdness, wildness, wilderness, light and heavy, dark and steady, controlled chaos for the senses. With their debut LP out as of November ’25, Boggle has been taking stages by storm, and contorting chaos into the most danceable, moshable tunes you’ve heard yet. Twisting from stompy party synth hooks to dramatic noise rock belters, sometimes within the same song, their sound is a unique one. With Rosie playing synth and guitar at the same time, and pounding drums with beautiful flourish from Toby - underpinning Anna’s dramatic, energetic baritone saxophone playing, their stage show is not to be missed. It will subvert and exceed all expectations, and take you by surprise. Their on-stage presence is a joyous one, a release of energy that could only be directed by 3 friends doing the thing they love most together. Nothing gets Boggle going more than making a whole room of people dance.

Wahala Dey is a trio of musicians led by drummer, composer and bandleader Ebs Daramola, featuring Tobi Obadele on bass and Tope Adesina on guitar. Rooted in the rhythms and soul of Nigeria music, the group brings an infectious groove that will get your feet moving, Expect a blend of highlife, Fuji, Afrobeat, soul and spontaneous improvisation- music that celebrates energy, joy and connection.
